The Enid Plainsmen routed the host Edmond Memorial Bulldogs softball team by a margin of 7-2 in Monday's league battle.

The Plainsmen now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eisenhower for a 6A District 1 battle on Tuesday, September 16. Enid will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Norman (Norman, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 2-12.

The Bulldogs (14-9) will now prepare for their bout against Southmoore (Moore, OK). The SaberCats go into the non-league bout with a 15-11 record. In their last bout, Southmoore tipped Jenks (Jenks, OK), 4-0, in a non-league bout.
