The Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Greenbrier Wolfpack to 6 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Monday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Screven County for a 1A D-II Region 3 battle on Thursday, September 18. Emanuel County Institute will confront a Gamecocks team coming off a 12-10 league loss to Portal (Portal, GA). The Gamecocks record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Greenbrier falls to 13-6 on the year. The Wolfpack travel to Effingham County (Springfield, GA) to meet the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 12-4. Effingham County won 16-1 in their recent league challenge against Lakeside (Evans, GA)
