Georgia High School Softball - Lamar County bounces McNair

The Lamar County Trojans softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting McNair Mustangs to 0 in the Trojans league win on Monday.
The Trojans now sport a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Academy for Classical Education for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 17. Lamar County will meet a Gryphons squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Gryphons record now stands at 15-5.
The Mustangs (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The War Eagles go into the 1A D-I Region 4 challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Putnam County was routed by Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA), 8-7, in a non-league challenge.
