The Liberty County Panthers triumphed over the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers softball squad by a count of 15-7 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA) in a 3A Region 3 outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Liberty County will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the outing with a 13-5 record after their 21-1 league win over Jenkins (Savannah, GA).

With the loss, McIntosh County Academy drops to 8-15 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Metter (Metter, GA) to meet the Tigers in a 1A D-II Region 3 test on Thursday, September 18. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 9-5. Metter won 7-3 in their recent league test against Claxton (Claxton, GA)
