The Shawnee Wolves softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting McAlester Buffaloes to 2 in the Wolves non-league win on Monday.

The Wolves now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Norman for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. Shawnee will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Eisenhower (Lawton, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 3-10.

The Buffaloes (3-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Stigler (Stigler, OK). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Stigler was routed by Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK), 13-1, in a non-league battle.
