The ALA - Ironwood Warriors (Ironwood, AZ) volleyball knocked off the visiting Benjamin Franklin Chargers (Queen Creek, AZ), 3-1 in Monday's league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Florence for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 17. ALA - Ironwood will battle a Gophers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ). The Gophers record now stands at 10-8.

Next, the Chargers battle the Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ) in a 3A - Metro contest, on Thursday, September 18. Benjamin Franklin will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Longhorns enter the contest with a 13-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ).
