Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles (Birmingham, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL). The Thunder come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Jacksonville Christian Academy was beaten by Faith Christian (Anniston, AL), 3-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. Appalachian will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 2-12 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL).
