The Apponequet Regional Lakers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Greater New Bedford RVT Bears to 2 in the Lakers league triumph on Monday.

The Lakers now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bourne for a South Coast outing on Wednesday, September 17. Apponequet Regional will play a Canalmen team coming off a 3-0 league win over Somerset Berkley Regional (Somerset, MA). The Canalmen record now stands at 4-0.

The Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Case (Swansea, MA). The Cardinals enter the South Coast game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Case held off Seekonk (Seekonk, MA), 3-0, in a league game.
