The Brooks Lions volleyball squad (Killen, AL), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's league battle with the host Central Wildcats (Florence, AL)

With the win, Central improves its record to 19-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Wilson (Florence, AL) to meet the Warriors in a 4A Area 14 challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 16-8. Wilson won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Winston County (Double Springs, AL)

The Lions now own a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hatton for a 4A Area 14 test on Tuesday, September 16. Brooks will face a Hornets squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Clements (Athens, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 5-12.
