In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Central Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Southside Panthers.

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Booker T. Washington Magnet (Montgomery, AL). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Booker T. Washington Magnet was beaten by LAMP (Montgomery, AL), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilcox Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Southside will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 25-19 non-league loss to Southside (Selma, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.
