In Monday's league challenge, the host Contreras Cobras volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats.

The Cobras (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mendez (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars enter the Central challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Mendez nudged Hollywood (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Bobcats now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bernstein for a Central test on Wednesday, September 17. Robert F. Kennedy Community will face a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Roybal (Los Angeles, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 4-2.
