Fort Meade Miners (Fort Meade, FL) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Discovery Spartans (Lake Alfred, FL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Miners (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tenoroc (Lakeland, FL). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record.

Next, the Spartans play the Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers (Davenport, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Discovery will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Explorers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Santa Fe Catholic (Lakeland, FL).
