The Weatherford Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Elgin Owls to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now have a 19-2 record. They play next when they travel to Newcastle for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 18. Weatherford will face a Racers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK). The Racers record now stands at 9-8.
The Owls (1-19) will now prepare for their outing against Duncan (Duncan, OK). The Demons come into the non-league outing with a 13-7 record. In their last outing, Duncan was topped by Verdigris (Claremore, OK), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
