In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Elkins Tigers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Moorefield Yellow Jackets.
The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Buccaneers come into the Big Ten challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Buckhannon-Upshur edged Independence (Coal City, WV), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Yellow Jackets (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Golden Tornado go into the Potomac Valley game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Keyser was edged by Southern (Oakland, MD), 3-2, in a non-league game.
