In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Fairview Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lawrence County Bulldogs.

The Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Lewis County went down by Greenup County (Greenup, KY), 3-0, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Floyd Central for a District 58 test on Tuesday, September 16. Lawrence County will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-6.
