North Carolina High School Volleyball - Franklin Academy overwhelmed by Research Triangle

The Research Triangle Raptors topped the visiting Franklin Academy Patriots volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's league game.

Next up, the Raptors face the Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC) in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Research Triangle will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 10-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC).

With the loss, Franklin Academy drops to 3-11 on the campaign. The Patriots host Voyager Academy (Durham, NC) to play the Vikings in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 3-7. Voyager Academy lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC)
