In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Goodwin Tech Gladiators volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Vinal RVT Hawks.

The Gladiators (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT). The Mighty Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Windham RVT was defeated by Grasso Tech (Groton, CT), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Hawks now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prince RVT for a Connecticut Technical test on Tuesday, September 16. Vinal RVT will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cheney Tech (Manchester, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 4-2.
