Virginia High School Volleyball - Grafton over Smithfield

Fans at Monday's league contest between the Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA) and the host Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA), saw Grafton's volleyball squad notch a victory over Smithfield by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Grafton improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Clippers host Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA) to encounter the Eagles in a Bay Rivers battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Jamestown won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA)

The Packers now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host York for a Bay Rivers battle on Tuesday, September 16. Smithfield will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.
