With the win, Grayson County advances its record to 13-2 on the season. The Cougars host Butler County (Morgantown, KY) to face the Bears in a District 12 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 5-12.

Next, the Hornets play the Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Hancock County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record.
