The Yellowjackets now possess a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Murphy for a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, September 16. Hayesville will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.

Next, the Eagles battle the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Hiwassee Dam will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 2-9 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Haywood Christian Academy (Waynesville, NC).
