In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Holly Pond Broncos volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Southeastern Mustangs.
With the win, Holly Pond improves its record to 15-5 on the season. The Broncos travel to Pennington (Blountsville, AL) to face the Tigers in a 3A Area 11 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 9-12.
The Mustangs now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West End for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16.
