Waiakea Warriors (Hilo, HI) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Ka'u Trojans (Pahala, HI), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Waiakea improves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Warriors host St. Joseph (Hilo, HI) to face the Cardinals in a Big Island I test on Wednesday, September 17. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Trojans now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laupahoehoe for a Big Island I game on Tuesday, September 16.
