The Sylmar Spartans volleyball squad (Sylmar, CA), dropped 3-0 in Monday's league contest with the host Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA)

The Cougars (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Dons enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Verdugo Hills was knocked off by Arleta (Arleta, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Spartans battle the San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA) in a Valley Mission battle, on Wednesday, September 17. Sylmar will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Reseda (Reseda, CA).
