With the win, Southern Choctaw improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Indians host Leroy (Leroy, AL) to encounter the Bears in a 1A Area 1 battle on Wednesday, September 17. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 5-4.

The Bears now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McIntosh for a 1A Area 1 battle on Tuesday, September 16. Leroy will encounter a Demons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Fruitdale (Fruitdale, AL). The Demons record now stands at 1-1.
