The Loyd Star Hornets topped the visiting McComb Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.

With the loss, McComb drops to 7-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Columbia (Columbia, MS) to play the Wildcats in a Class 4A Region 7 outing on Thursday, September 18. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 3-9.
