In Monday's non-league challenge, the host North Rose-Wolcott Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Penn Yan Academy Mustangs.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gananda Central (Walworth, NY). The Blue Panthers go into the Section 5 Wayne County game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Gananda Central went down by Franklin (Rochester, NY), 3-1, in a non-league game.
The Mustangs (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NY). The Bombers go into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Bloomfield beat Williamson (Williamson, NY), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
