The Red Bird Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers to 0 in the Cardinals league triumph on Monday.

The Cardinals now possess a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson City for a non-league game on Thursday, September 18.

The Mountaineers (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Harlan (Harlan, KY). The Green Dragons enter the non-league game with a 5-15 record. In their last game, Harlan was dropped by Pineville (Pineville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
