The Xenia Buccaneers volleyball squad (Xenia, OH), was defeated 3-1 in Monday's league battle with the host Piqua Indians (Piqua, OH)

With the win, Piqua improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Indians travel to Stebbins (Riverside, OH) to meet the Indians in a Miami Valley League - Valley challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 0-9.

Next, the Buccaneers meet the Sidney Yellowjackets (Sidney, OH) in a Miami Valley League - Valley test, on Tuesday, September 16. Xenia will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a 10-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Troy (Troy, OH).
