In Monday's league challenge, the host Stringer Red Devils volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Richton Rebels.

The Red Devils (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarkdale (Meridian, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Clarkdale beat Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS), 3-0, in a league test.

The Rebels now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Resurrection Catholic for a Class 1A Region 8 test on Tuesday, September 16. Richton will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Stringer (Stringer, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 11-6.
