The Shadyside Tigers volleyball squad (Shadyside, OH), was edged 3-2 in Monday's league battle with the host River Pilots (Hannibal, OH)

With the win, River improves its record to 6-6 on the season. The Pilots host Bellaire (Bellaire, OH) to encounter the Big Reds in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Big Reds enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Bellaire lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH)

Next, the Tigers meet the Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, OH) in a Ohio Valley 2A challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Shadyside will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH).
