In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Hastings Tigers softball squad scored a good 10-0 win over the Adams Central Patriots.
The Tigers now own a 17-1 record. They take the field next when they host McCook for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 18. Hastings will battle a Bison squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Hastings (Hastings, NE). The Bison record now stands at 5-11.
With the loss, Adams Central falls to 14-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Northwest (Grand Island, NE) to battle the Vikings in a B District 8 challenge on Tuesday, September 21. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 13-5.
