Pueblo South Colts (Pueblo, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pueblo Central Wildcats (Pueblo, CO), 1-0 in a league challenge.

The Colts now own a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pueblo East for a 4A South Central game on Tuesday, September 21. Pueblo South will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Northridge (Greeley, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 18. Pueblo Central will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Thunder come into the game with a 10-5 record after their 14-3 league win over Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO).
