Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Pinnacle Panthers (Price, UT) and the host Diamond Ranch Academy Diamondbacks (Hurricane, UT), saw Pinnacle's baseball squad knock off Diamond Ranch Academy by a count of 17-8.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT) in a 1A - South battle, on Wednesday, September 21. Pinnacle will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the battle with a 13-2 record after their 5-0 league loss to Panguitch (Panguitch, UT).
