Alabama High School Football - Cornerstone Christian tips Springwood

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Cornerstone Christian Chargers (Columbiana, AL) and the visiting Springwood Wildcats (Lanett, AL), observed Cornerstone Christian's football squad edge Springwood by a count of 52-50.

The Chargers now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to North River Christian for a AISA 8-Man (8 Man) contest on Friday, September 23. Cornerstone Christian will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 34-28 non-league loss to Lighthouse HomeSchool (Oneonta, AL). The Chargers record now stands at 1-4.

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Southern Christian Patriots (Opelika, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 23. Springwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 28-14 non-league win over Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA).
