The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions (Bear, DE) and the visiting Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE), observed Red Lion Christian Academy's football squad edge Delmar by a tally of 20-19.

The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Caravel for a 2A District 3 contest on Friday, September 23. Red Lion Christian Academy will play a Buccaneers squad coming off a 54-0 league win over Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE) in a 2A District 3 contest, on Friday, September 23. Delmar will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Buccaneers go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 52-26 league loss to Lake Forest (Felton, DE).
