Delaware High School Football - Dover prevails St. Georges Tech

September 16, 2022: Dover, DE 19901

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Dover Senators (Dover, DE) and the visiting St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE), observed Dover's football squad defeat St. Georges Tech by a count of 31-6.

The Senators now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cape Henlopen for a 3A District 2 contest on Friday, September 23. Dover will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 42-6 non-league win over William Penn (New Castle, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE) in a 3A District 1 contest, on Saturday, September 24. St. Georges Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Sallies go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE).
