Hawaii High School Football - Kaiser held off by Pearl City

In Friday's league game, the Pearl City Chargers (Pearl City, HI) football team tipped the host Kaiser Cougars (Honolulu, HI), by a final score of 27-21.
The Chargers (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Nanakuli (Waianae, HI). The Golden Hawks come into the OIA II game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Nanakuli got by Kalaheo (Kailua, HI), 40-0, in a league game.
The Cougars now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Kaimuki for a OIA II game on Saturday, September 24. Kaiser will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-33 league win over Waialua (Waialua, HI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
