North Carolina High School Football - Leesville Road crushed by Wake Forest

Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Leesville Road Pride (Raleigh, NC), 49-7 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Wake Forest improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Knightdale (Knightdale, NC) to battle the Knights in a 4A East Conference 27 test on Friday, September 30. The Knights come into the test with a record of 5-0. Knightdale won 35-7 in their recent non-league test against Enloe (Raleigh, NC)

With the loss, Leesville Road drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Pride host Broughton (Raleigh, NC) to battle the Capitals in a 4A East Conference 28 test on Friday, September 30. The Capitals come into the test with a record of 2-3. Broughton lost 55-10 in their recent non-league test against Rolesville (Rolesville, NC)
