West Virginia High School Football - Wirt County overwhelms Ravenswood

September 16, 2022: Elizabeth, WV 26143

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Wirt County Tigers (Elizabeth, WV) and the visiting Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV), observed Wirt County's football squad bounce Ravenswood by a tally of 63-6.

The Tigers now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Doddridge County for a Little Kanawha contest on Friday, September 30.

Coming up next, the Red Devils play the Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 23. Ravenswood will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Tide go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 30-20 non-league loss to Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV).
