Virginia High School Soccer - Benedictine nudges Saint John Paul the Great Catholic

The Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) soccer nudged the visiting Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA), 3-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
With the win, Benedictine moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA) to battle the Flames in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. The Flames go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Eastern Mennonite won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA)
In their next game, the Wolves play the Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA) in a VCAC outing, on Tuesday, September 20. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Gryphons go into the outing with a 3-4 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA).
