Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), 13-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colquitt County for a 7A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 20.

With the loss, Berrien falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Worth County (Sylvester, GA) to face the Rams in a 2A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 20. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 8-8. Worth County won 17-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Atkinson County (Pearson, GA)
