The Apprentice Academy Red Wolves volleyball team (Monroe, NC), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC)

The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots come into the Metro Eight 1A challenge with a 6-2 record.

Next, the Red Wolves encounter the Cabarrus Charter Huskies (Concord, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Apprentice Academy will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC).
