The Cate Rams volleyball team (Carpinteria, CA), was dropped 3-1 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Bishop Diego Cardinals (Santa Barbara, CA)

The Cardinals (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA). The Seraphs enter the Tri-Valley challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Bonaventure defeated La Reina (Thousand Oaks, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Grace Brethren Lancers (Simi Valley, CA) in a Tri-Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Cate will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara, CA).
