In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Lake County Baptist Lions volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Cristo Rey St. Martin Knights.
The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Marquette Manor Baptist Academy (Downers Grove, IL). The Minutemen come into the Illinois Association of Christian Schools battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Marquette Manor Baptist Academy nudged Suburban Christian (Indianapolis, IN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
