Texas High School Volleyball - Young Women's Leadership Academy over Gonzales

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Young Women's Leadership Academy Cardinals (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Gonzales Apaches (Gonzales, TX), saw Young Women's Leadership Academy's volleyball squad beat Gonzales by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Young Women's Leadership Academy upgrades its record to 8-9 on the year. The Cardinals host La Vernia (La Vernia, TX) to play the Bears in a 4A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 24-9. La Vernia won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX)

The Apaches now own a 9-17 record. They play next when they travel to San Antonio Memorial for a 4A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, September 20. Gonzales will play a Minutemen squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cuero (Cuero, TX). The Minutemen record now stands at 6-24.
