The Kennedy Crusaders topped the host North Grand Eagle Owls volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Crusaders now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitney Young for a Chicago Public Super test on Tuesday, September 20. Kennedy will confront a Dolphins team coming off a 2-1 league win over Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Dolphins record now stands at 12-4.

The Eagle Owls (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Lions enter the Chicago Public Red North test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Lincoln Park gained a win over Amundsen (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
