The Palacios Sharks volleyball team (Palacios, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX)

The Raiders (8-22) will now prepare for their challenge against Yoakum (Yoakum, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region IV District 25 challenge with a 16-8 record. In their last challenge, Yoakum defeated Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Sharks encounter the Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Palacios will attempt to move on its 5-18 season record. The Brahmas come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Yoakum (Yoakum, TX).
