The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) and the host Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX), saw Ponder's volleyball squad nip Paradise by a tally of 3-2.

The Rams go into the bout with a record of 28-4. S & S Consolidated won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX)

The Panthers now own a 20-11 record. They play next when they travel to Callisburg for a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, September 20. Paradise will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 20-9.
