In Friday's league challenge, the Regents Lions (Charlottesville, VA) volleyball team toppled the host Ridgeview Christian Crusaders (Stuarts Draft, VA), by a count of 3-1.

The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fresta Valley Christian (Marshall, VA). The Pioneers enter the VACA challenge with a 1-1 record.

Next, the Crusaders meet the Grace Christian Warriors (Staunton, VA) in a VACA challenge, on Monday, September 19. Ridgeview Christian will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 3-0 league win over United Christian Academy (Stanardsville, VA).
