The Whitney Wildcats volleyball team (Whitney, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host West Trojans (West, TX)

The Trojans (20-8) will now prepare for their challenge against North Central Texas Academy (Granbury, TX). The Pioneers enter the non-league challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, North Central Texas Academy defeated Keene (Keene, NH), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Clifton Cubs (Clifton, TX) in a 3A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Whitney will attempt to move on its 10-18 season record. The Cubs enter the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Maypearl (Maypearl, TX).
